Sphaerodactylus nigropunctatus flavicauda (SYNTYPES CAS 39337, MCZ 6953, MCZ 13564, MCZ 8485-95, IJMMZ 107614): Bahama Is.: western Great Bahama Bank; Cay Sal Bank.
Sphaerodactylus nigropunctatus gibbus (HOLOTYPE MCZ 13436): Bahama Is.: Exuma Cays, Long I., Littie San Salvador I.; Green Cay; intergrades with S. n. nigropunctatus on northernmost Exuma Cays.
Sphaerodactylus nigropunctatus granti (HOLOTYPE BYU 17233): Cuba, Archipilago de Sabana-Camagey, Cayos bs Ballenatos; northeastern Camagey Province to Holguin and Guantnamo provinces and to northeast Granma Province, and to southern Guantnamo Province; intergrades with S. n. strategus near city of Guantnamo and further south. Sphaerodactylus nigropunctatus lissodesmus (HOLOTYPE MCZ 57344): Cuba, Sierra de Cubitas. Sphaerodactylus nigropunctatus ocujal (HOLOTYPE USNM 138015): Cuba, southeastern coast.
